This Weeks Plan from Podunk Pretties

 The top priority for the week is to get the border applique glued in place on my Bumpkin Baskets quilt. 


Before that can happen I need to finish recovering my pressing boards.  I started this late last night.  Normally I recover each of these 3 or 4 times a year.  I'm pretty sure these were neglected all last year because they looked horrible. !!!!!!!! from Pinkadot Quilts



I am a little frustrated. Blogger changed it's format and I am trying to figure it out.....why can't they leave wel enough alone?
My new ironing board cover. This is the one I use that is near my sewing machine to press blocks and small pieces of fabrics.


I love how it fills the space and makes it easy to iron a fat quarter. The top one is the old one, you can see how small it was.

A bit of housekeeping from Celtic Thistle Stitches

One of the joys of my sewing room (yes it is almost finished!!!) is the pull-out ironing board set in to a cupboard. I know I am easy to please :)

Given the punishment ironing boards take around here I wanted to make a cover for it to make sure that the nice, fawn surface wouldn't get ruined when I inadvertently iron fusible wadding the wrong way round!
